This is usually the first question that pops into someone’s mind when they are asked to change brokerages. So I want to tell you a little about me and how I came about the model I have at Reynolds Realty Gulf Coast, Inc.
I come from many years of corporate background so I treat everyone as an individual business owner because that is what you are. You are the CEO of your own business. You are self employed, you do not draw a salary. If you don’t produce, you don’t eat plain and simple. So, given that knowledge, who should get the majority of the commissions you generate,,, YOU.
You have to pay for all your expenses such as business cards, signs, advertising and marketing, E&O insurance, websites, blogs and all the technology that goes with it. So it only makes sense that you get the majority of the commission so you can afford to stay in business. I only keep $500 per transaction side you do. No quotas, No franchise fees, No sales meetings. I want you selling and being successful. The pressure you will receive is the pressure you put on yourself.
My job is to make sure you stay legal and cross all your T’s and dot all your I’s. I am also here for questions and assistance when you need me as a broker. My job as your broker is to be your mentor.
I am a firm believer in training. Give you a strong foundation and you will be a great agent forever. I also believe in technology. If you don’t build an internet presence, you will go out of business. 97% of all people search the internet before talking to anyone. The goal, capture them while they are doing their initial research. They say 75% of people deal with the first agent they talk to, so be that first agent.
My brokerage is very cutting edge, my background is in the computer technology field so you can benefit from my knowledge. When you join Reynolds Realty Gulf Coast, Inc you will have access to this training on an individualized basis. I will work at your pace covering the topic(s) you request and giving you the tasks and steps to complete at your own pace.
I also do not believe in floor time, it is a waste of time and was only used so brokers could have a free receptionist. If you are a productive agent you will not be in the office much, you don’t make money when you are in the office. I have everything set up so you can access our systems from your home office.
One of my systems is a paperless filing system. What’s better? It is free to you! Loading your contracts, inspection reports, addendums gives you and I both access to these files anytime day or night. This works out great for the file storage requirements and also if you need to go back and pull a document such as a HUD or Closing Document, it is at your fingertips. Now you can have your personal assistant work from her home and still be able to access your files. Cool huh?? I think so.
